What Check Point does

Check Point is a cyber security company founded in 1993. Its own site organises the portfolio around four areas: hybrid mesh network security, workspace security, exposure management and AI security (checked 2 September 2026). The Israeli head office is at 5 Shlomo Kaplan Street, Tel Aviv, per the annual report the company files with the SEC, and its 2025 ESG report describes a long-term lease on a new campus next to the existing headquarters.

That same report says 65% of the global workforce is in technical roles, which it defines as research and development, technical sales and support, cyber security research, and professional services. That is broadly what gets hired here.

How hiring at Check Point works

Everything goes through the careers site, which leads into the job portal. There is no separate Israeli careers site — one global site with a location filter. Roles are also posted on LinkedIn (checked 2 September 2026).

Process stages: not published. The careers FAQ says only that recruiters review your application after you submit it. There is no stage list.

Employee referrals: the company confirms this is a main channel. Its 2025 ESG report states that employee referrals are a key hiring channel and that it actively encourages employees to refer candidates from their professional networks. There is no public page a candidate can use — but an employee inside can.

Students and juniors: the programs page lists an R&D student program in Israel, summer internships, and an 18-month Global Associates program.

Why applying through the form is not enough

Check Point is a recruiting brand. A technical role in Tel Aviv draws a lot of applicants, and they all arrive through the same portal, in the same format, into the same queue. Your document is not only competing against the job's requirements — it is competing for the attention of a recruiter working through a pile.

That is the difference we wrote about in the post on referrals: a referral does not skip interviews and does not guarantee a reply, it changes the channel. A 2015 paper in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, using personnel data from nine large firms, found referred applicants are more likely to be hired even when their skills look similar. And when the company itself writes in its own report that employee referrals are a key channel, it is telling you which queue is shorter.

The right way to apply to Check Point

  1. Find the exact role in the portal and keep its title and job ID. A message with no job number reads like a message about anything.
  2. Tailor the resume to that role. The same technologies the posting names, in the same words, where you have actually done them.
  3. Find one person inside. A LinkedIn search on the company plus the role title, alumni of your degree or your unit, and whoever in your network already works there.
  4. One short message: who you are in a line, which job with a link, two pieces of evidence that you fit, and one clear request to pass your resume inside.
  5. One reminder after five to seven days, then move to the next person. Apply through the form in parallel.

Tagishoti is built for exactly these steps: it finds jobs that fit you, tailors the resume to each one, uses your connected LinkedIn account to identify who at the company could put you forward, and drafts the message to them. Nothing is sent until you approve it, and nobody can promise the person who receives it will agree to refer you.

FAQ: jobs at Check Point

Does Check Point have an employee referral program?

The company's 2025 ESG report says employee referrals are a key hiring channel and that it encourages employees to refer candidates. The terms are not published, and there is no page an outside candidate can submit through — the referral has to come from an employee.

Does Check Point hire students and juniors?

Yes. The programs page on its careers site lists an R&D student program in Israel, summer internships, and an 18-month Global Associates program with rotations across functions (checked 2 September 2026).

Do you need Hebrew to work at Check Point?

It depends on the role, and the company publishes no blanket language policy. It is a global company and its careers site is entirely in English, so an English resume is the safe default. The actual language requirement is in the posting itself.

How long does the hiring process take?

Not published. The careers site says only that recruiters review applications after submission — no timeline and no stage list.
